Canvas Makes #10 on Bay Area Best Places to Work List : 2nd year in a row on Silicon Valley Business Journal + San Francisco Business Times List / small companies category

SAN FRANCISCO — May 5, 2023 — For the second year running, Canvas was recognized by the Silicon Valley Business Journal / San Francisco Business Times as a Bay Area Best Places to Work (BP2W). The San Francisco-based construction robotics company—which also recently won a Forbes AI 50 award and was recognized in Fast Company‘s World Changing Ideas—earned the #10 spot on this year’s BP2W list.
The Bay Area BP2W awards recognize companies whose employees report great satisfaction with multiple aspects of their work environment, including corporate culture. “Canvas has spent a great deal of time and energy creating and supporting a corporate culture where employees can do their best work, while feeling supported, heard and recognized for their contribution,” says Canvas Senior Manager of People Operations Eliza Bell. “We are as proud of the culture we’ve built here at Canvas, as we are of the robots we’ve built.”
BP2W winners are selected based on the results of employee-submitted questionnaires. The surveys, which are anonymous, cover topics such as leadership, management, DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion), recognition, communication, compensation, benefits, and work-life balance.
